Privacy Policy

This promotion is operated and administered by Privatbrauerei ERDINGER Weissbräu, Werner Brombach GmbH, Lange Zeile 1 + 3, 85435 Erding GERMANY (the Promoter).

  1. The personal data that you provide when you submit an entry to this promotion will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering and managing your participation in the promotion, verifying eligibility and selecting the winners in accordance with the terms and conditions relating to the promotion below (Terms and Conditions).
  2. If you win a prize, the Promoter will:
    1. make your name and county available, as a winner of this promotion, to people requesting that information in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and as required by the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing. If you do not want your name to be made available, please inform the Promoter using the contact details in paragraph 7 of this Privacy Policy (the Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required); and
    2. share your personal data with either Ribble or HUUB to arrange fulfillment and delivery of your prize. They will process your personal data only for the purposes of prize fulfilment and delivery.
  3. The Terms and Conditions are the legal basis on which the Promoter will process your personal data. If you do not provide your personal data, the Promoter cannot enter you into this promotion or process your entry and provide you with your prize.
  4. The Promoter will not share your personal data with any third party other than those who are engaged by them to fulfil and deliver the prizes. Your personal data may be sent to countries outside of the UK in order to conduct aspects of the promotion. Where this occurs, the Promoter will ensure that any transfer happens in accordance with applicable law.
  5. If you are not successful in winning a prize, the Promoter will delete your personal data promptly after the winners have been selected. If you are successful in winning a prize, the Promoter will delete your personal data promptly after three months have elapsed from the promotion closing date. To find out more, you can contact the Promoter using the contact details set out in paragraph 6 below.
  6. In accordance with the applicable data protection laws and regulations, the Promoter reminds you that at any time you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation of treatment, opposition to treatment, including a right to require your personal data is erased (but note that this will automatically remove your entry from the promotion and mean that you cannot receive or take up a prize), a right to amend your data and the right to ask to port (transfer) your data directly to another organisation by writing to the Promoter at gewinnspiel@erdinger.de.
  7. If you believe that the Promoter is not treating your personal data in accordance with the law, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office or other competent authority. You can find more details at their website https://ico.org.uk/.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility
  1. This promotion is open to all persons aged 18 or over resident in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland the Channel Islands), other than employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.


How to Enter
  1. You will require internet access and an email address to enter the promotion.
  2. A purchase is necessary to enter the promotion.
  3. To enter this promotion, prior to the Closing Date (as defined below) you must:
    1. purchase a promotional 500ml bottle of Erdinger Alkoholfrei (Product) from any UK stockist while stocks last;
    2. scan the QR code which appears on the neck collar of the Product or visit https://erdinger-alkoholfrei.co.uk/ritual-win (Microsite);
    3. complete the online form on the Microsite by inserting your full name, email address and the unique reference number (URN) which can be found printed inside the neck collar of the Product; and
    4. retain your till receipt obtained when purchasing the Product (Receipt) as proof of purchase until at least 30th June 2024.
  4. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms and Conditions of this promotion. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.
  5. The promotion starts at 00:00 on 25th March 2024 (Opening Date). All entries must be received before the promotion closes at 23:59 on 27th May 2024 (Closing Date). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received by the Closing Date for any reason. Proof of sending shall not be deemed to be proof receipt.
  6. Entries are unlimited for the duration of this promotion, save that each URN qualifies (and is valid only) for one entry, so that no more than one entry can be made for each Product purchased. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.


Prize
  1. There are 30 prizes available to be won, including:
    1. 10 x HUUB Pinnacle Wetsuits
    2. 10 x Coros Pace 3 Sports Watches (Choice of black or white strap); and
    3. 10 x Ribble Endurance SLE Electric Road Bikes.
  2. No more than one prize may be won per person.
  3. Any further prize details will be confirmed when the winner is contacted. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of at least equal value if circumstances make this necessary.
  4. Each prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternative will be offered.


Selection of Winners
  1. The winners will be the first 30 entries drawn at random from all eligible entries by a computer process that produces verifiably random results. Winners will be contacted by email within seven days of the Closing Date using the details provided to enter the promotion. Non-winning entrants will not be notified.
  2. To claim their prize, winners must provide:
    1. a valid Receipt as proof of purchase; and
    2. their full UK delivery address
    to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified that they have won.
  3. The prize may be forfeited and a replacement winner drawn at the Promoter’s sole discretion in the following events:
    1. the prize is declined, or a winner cannot take up their prize;
    2. a winner is disqualified under the Terms and Conditions of this promotion;
    3. a winner fails to provide their Receipt or to confirm their UK delivery address within 14 days of being notified they have won; or
    4. delivery of the prize is refused or cannot be completed using reasonable attempts.
    The Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of a winner to produce a valid Receipt (whether through loss or damage, or for any other reason) or for any inability of a winner to take up the prize.
  4. If you need to amend the contact details you provided to enter the promotion or wish to withdraw your entry from this promotion, please contact the Promoter in writing at gewinnspiel@erdinger.de.
  5. To obtain the name and county of the winner, please email gewinnspiel@erdinger.de within three months of the Closing Date. Entrants can object to disclosure or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting the Promoter. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.


General
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and / or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice and, by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended terms.
  2. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify entries deemed to be non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions or if it has any reason to believe that efforts have been made to distort the competitive process or spirit of the promotion. This includes any individual found to be attempting to circumvent this paragraph by tampering with the operation of the promotion, setting up multiple accounts or using multiple identities. No bulk, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. The Promoter’s decision as to any aspect of this promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered in to and there is no right of appeal.
  3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any URNs, entries or winner notifications which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the promotion or to download any materials in connection with the promotion.
  4. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  5. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
  6. This promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Consumers in Scotland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.
